Vimla Parmar

B.E., Diploma in Computer Engineering

“Today, I am at this position, which is only because of Humankind, that  encouraged me to go further and achieve greater heights.”

Vimla, who now works at Iskcon IT company, joined Humankind in 2014, when she was in 7th grade. She really enjoyed her days when she used to come here and study with other students.

Like other kids, she too was really fond of games and thus used to love Sundays. When she completed her 10th grade, along with studies she also took the responsibility of teaching other students at the NGO.

She is a person who always wanted to learn something new, and thus enjoyed her life at Humankind learning new things every day. She comes from a family where girls do not study much.

Thus, Humankind helped her, where Uttam sir talked with her father and convinced him to allow her to continue her studies. Because of this help, she has now completed her diploma in Computer Engineering and also her B.E., and now works at a prestigious company.

Humankind has also helped her financially by helping her pay the tuition fees of her courses. Other than these, it is the moral support and love that she has received here at Humankind, which has made her realize her dream. She often stated, “If sir hadn’t asked me to push my limits and pursue higher educations, I may not have been to this position as I am right now.”

Just like she got all the help from Humankind, she is very confident that other kids studying here will get those help as well and will definitely succeed in their lives. She feels overwhelmed coming back to a place and teaching there, where once she herself was a student.

She feels very proud and grateful at the same time. Thus, she will always cherish all the fun and memorable moments that she had here at Humankind, and will always be grateful to it as well.
