Joining Humankind’s Project Saksham to learn tailoring changed my life. The teachers gave each of us personal attention, ensuring we mastered every detail. Though the course was six months long, I stayed for a year, gaining not just sewing skills but vital life lessons.

One program taught me the importance of saving money. As I began earning by stitching small clothes in our slum, I set a goal to buy my own sewing machine. With the skills and knowledge from Humankind, I saved diligently and, in six months, I proudly bought my sewing machine.

This achievement was a proud moment for me and my parents. Thanks to Humankind, I am now a confident, self-reliant tailor, ready to face the world.
