humankind is mainly working in the area of education for underprivileged children of the society, old age destitute, women and community members. We believe that education is the only way to break the vicious cycle of illiteracy. Our vision and mission can be summed up as 'Literacy for All'.  humankind works to overcome the barriers that prevent children from breaking out of the poverty cycle. We also reach out to such students who are forced to discontinue their studies due to monetary constraints. We offer financial assistance to the students by meeting all their educational requirements.

By involving children and seeking their views at every stage of program design, implementation and evaluation, humankind ensures that children play an active role in their own growth. Across humankind's projects a common theme is participation and children having a voice of their own.
